Tammy - Administrative Assistant
For more than 20 years, Tammy was the quiet powerhouse behind thousands of clean, accurate medical invoices. After graduating from Grand Ledge High—and polishing her skills at both Jackson Community College and Lansing Community College—she earned her billing degree in the mid-90s and never looked back.
Tammy first sharpened her craft in hospital billing, then tackled everything from anesthesia and gastroenterology to multi-physician practices. In the early 2000s she took the leap and launched her own billing firm, serving dental, optical, and family-medicine offices with the same care she gives her own family.
Since stepping away from the billing desk in 2014, Tammy has poured that energy into what she loves most: helping people, rescuing animals, and mastering “just one more” DIY project. When she’s not volunteering or spoiling the family dog, you’ll find her in the kitchen perfecting a new pie recipe or in the garden growing the veggies she’ll can come fall.
Married to her high-school sweetheart for 40 years and proud mom to two grown kids (plus one very spoiled fur baby), Tammy proves that compassion, curiosity, and a dash of entrepreneurial grit never go out of style.
