Ross Lee Gibson, MA, LLP

Ross believes that therapy is a collaborative contract between the client and therapist, centered on the client’s goals, which should be observable and measurable.

Bringing over 40 years of experience in behavioral health, Ross has worked in community mental health, corrections, and private practice, assisting clients with a wide range of challenges. He is trained as a cognitive behaviorist therapist with specialized expertise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), both of which are evidence-based approaches designed to support individuals dealing with mood disorders, relationship difficulties, anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD, attention deficit disorders, and personality disorders.

As a cognitive behaviorist, Ross emphasizes the importance of giving clients structured tasks to work on outside of therapy, ensuring that progress remains directly linked to their therapeutic goals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients understand the connection between their beliefs, thoughts, and emotions and the behaviors that result from them.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Ross has a strong connection with fellow veterans and takes great pride in supporting them through their unique challenges. His approach focuses on helping clients enhance their emotional and cognitive regulation by identifying triggers that lead to reactive states and developing new strategies for achieving a healthier, more balanced life.

Additionally, Ross has extensive training in administering psychological assessments to support individual psychological evaluations, further strengthening his ability to provide comprehensive, client-centered care.
